Apple Cinnamon French Toast

  • 2 slices sprouted grain cinnamon raisin bread
  • 1 egg
  • ½ apple, sliced
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • Dash of cinnamon, to taste
  1. Whisk 1 tbsp water with egg in a bowl.
  2. Soak both sides of bread in egg mixture.
  3. Transfer bread to a lightly greased pan and cook over medium heat until both sides are brown.
  4. Top with apples, cinnamon and syrup.
  5. Serve immediately.
