Homemade Chocolate Covered Cherries
Recipe type: Dessert
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup coconut oil, melted
  • 2 tbsp sweetener (pure maple syrup, agave or coconut palm sugar)
  • Fresh cherries
  • Sea salt for seasoning
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cocoa powder, coconut oil, sweetener and salt and stir well.
  2. Dip each cherry in the chocolate sauce and place on a plate lined with parchment paper or tin foil.
  3. Place in the refrigerator or freezer for 5-10 minutes until the chocolate has completely hardened.
  4. Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator until serving.
