With everything going on in the world right now with COV-19, hand sanitizer and toilet paper are flying off the shelves, among many other things (food, Lysol wipes, etc.)
While I can’t tell you how to make most of these items from scratch, you can make your own DIY hand sanitizer with 3 ingredients that you probably have in your cabinet at home right now.
I’m not going to type up a lengthy article voicing my opinion about coronavirus, because honestly, don’t you hate having to scroll through multiple long paragraphs to get to the recipe?
So let’s get to it!

- ¾ cup of rubbing alcohol (99 percent isopropyl)
- ¼ cup aloe vera gel
- 10 drops pure essential oil of choice (to assist with alcohol scent)
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl, stirring until smooth. (If you have a whisk, this works best for a smooth gel texture.)
- Pour ingredients into an empty bottle for easy use.
