My favorite tapas restaurant in Los Angeles, Red O, has a fantastic drink menu, and their cucumber melon margarita was always my favorite. Unfortunately, they revised their menu, and my favorite drink is no longer on it 🙁 Thus, I now have no choice but to make my own.

These margaritas don’t contain any refined sugar, as they’re naturally sweetened with honeydew melon, and I add a dash of agave nectar for extra flavor. I’m pretty picky when it comes to margaritas, and sugary mixers tend to be too sweet for me, so these are perfect.

(And if you’re not too strict on sugar intake, feel free to add a dash of Midori Melon liqueur!)

I love to pair these with my homemade gluten-free brown rice nachos.
