Here is a video tutorial of how to make spaghetti squash. Spaghetti squash is a great healthy substitute for pasta, but it does take a bit longer to cook.

The shell of the squash is really hard, so you’ll need to sharp knife to slice it in half. In the video I show you how to puncture the shell of squash and soften it in the microwave before you cut it. Then you’ll want to take a spoon and dig out all of the seeds before roasting it in the oven.

It’s well worth the work though, I feel so much lighter after eating squash than I do eating the heavy carbs in pasta.
