With everything going on in the world right now with COV-19, hand sanitizer and toilet paper are flying off the shelves, among many other things (food, Lysol wipes, etc.)

While I can’t tell you how to make most of these items from scratch, you can make your own DIY hand sanitizer with 3 ingredients that you probably have in your cabinet at home right now.

I’m not going to type up a lengthy article voicing my opinion about coronavirus, because honestly, don’t you hate having to scroll through multiple long paragraphs to get to the recipe?

How to make your own hand sanitizer
Ingredients
  • ¾ cup of rubbing alcohol (99 percent isopropyl)
  • ¼ cup aloe vera gel
  • 10 drops pure essential oil of choice (to assist with alcohol scent)
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl, stirring until smooth. (If you have a whisk, this works best for a smooth gel texture.)
  2. Pour ingredients into an empty bottle for easy use.
